MG Cyberster: Stunning Concept Revealed

By B. O’Hare
MG has unveiled a sleek concept EV dubbed the Cyberster ahead of the Shanghai Auto Show later this month. The Chinese-backed, British-based firm plans to be a major player in the electric era and the Cyberster is the latest jaw dropping concept EV they have shown.
With a claimed range of up to 500 miles per charge as well as a sub 3-second 0-60 mph time, the Cyberster is both impressive on paper and in the flesh. Featuring ‘Magic Eye’ headlights that open up when turned on, as well as LED strip lighting down the side, the Cyberster is arguably the most striking concept car shown in the past 12 months.

Inside, the Cyberster is equipped with ‘Zero Gravity’ seats and ‘floating’ head restraints to ensure maximum performance can be enjoyed in maximum comfort. There’s also bright red leather door handles, panels and seats to add to the sporty vibe.
Will it ever reach production? Probably not, but the design language could definitely be previewing future MG models. After all, MG reportedly have an affordable electric roadster planned down the pipeline.
