Genesis Unveils Stunning New X Coupe Concept

By B. O’Hare
Genesis, the luxury subsidiary of Hyundai, has unveiled a new striking concept dubbed the X. An electric grand tourer, the X “embodies the design language of future Genesis models” whilst also utilizing the “Two Lines” styling strategy found on existing Genesis cars.
No specs were given, and we don’t know whether Genesis intends to make a production version of the X or not. But we do know the electric coupe segment is virtually non-existent, and something akin to the X would no doubt be a strong seller.
Genesis will however, be launching a number of production EVs soon. The first of which will reportedly be the GV60, a crossover that should enter production later this year. Codenamed the JW, it will be based off the Hyundai Motor Group’s diverse E-GMP platform. An electrified version of the GV70 is also reportedly on the way too, as is an electric G80 sedan. There’s also been rumors that the flagship G90 sedan could be getting an EV variant in the near future as well.
What are your thoughts on the X concept? Do you like it as much as we do? Let us know your thoughts in the replies section below!
