Meet The Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo

By B. O’Hare
After much anticipation, the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo has been fully unveiled ahead of customer deliveries this summer. Previewed in 2018 by the Mission E Cross Turismo concept, the Taycan Cross Turismo aims to combine the best of the both worlds – performance and practicality.
Four versions are available: 4, 4S, Turbo and Turbo S. As expected, there is no RWD version. Pricing for the Cross Turismo 4 in the US starts at $92,250 – pricing for the other variants is unknown at the moment but we will keep you up to date as more info comes through.
OTA updates, Apple CarPlay and three years of free Electrify America fast-charging are all included as standard. Inside, you can find 14-way adjustable massage seats, Bose speakers and a HUD too.
Range is up to 283 miles per charge, meanwhile 0-60 mph takes 2.7 seconds in Turbo S guise, 3.1 seconds for the Turbo, 3.9 for the 4S and finally 4.8 for the entry-level 4. Power output ranges between 761 bhp for the top-of-the-line Turbo S to 375 bhp for the base 4.
In terms of charging, the Cross Turismo’s 800V architecture means going from 5% to 80% takes just 22.5 minutes. Ride height is increased by 20 mm versus the standard Taycan, but this can be increased to 30 mm with certain off-road packs equipped. Meanwhile adaptive suspension comes standard on all four versions.
