The production version of the Lucid Air will be unveiled this April

Californian startup Lucid Motors have confirmed that the final, production Air will be unveiled this April at the New York International Auto Show.

The sedan is aiming for a range of over 400 miles and a 2.5 second 0-60 mph time (in top-end 130kWh spec). Pricing is estimated to start at around $60k for the 75kWh Air, which will be capable of around 240 miles per charge. A mid-ranking 100kWh variant with a 315 mile range will also be available.

All vehicles will be manufactured at Lucid’s new Phoenix Arizona factory, which is currently under construction. First deliveries of the Air are expected to take place later this year. Model S and Taycan rival? Let us know your thoughts in the replies section below!
