The Nissan Ariya is a $40k Model Y Rival with a 300 mile range

Another EV coming this year that will seriously shake up the market is the Nissan Ariya, the Japanese company’s response to the Tesla Model Y. Originally unveiled as a concept back in October, a production version is expected to be shown in the Summer, with deliveries aimed for later this year // early 2021.

As stated in the title, Nissan aims for the Ariya to have a 300 mile (482km) range. Pricing is expected to be between $40-45k, right in Model Y and Mach-E territory. The Ariya will also be autonomous, featuring Nissan Pro Pilot 2.0 (Level 3 autonomy) and will have access to a large charging network throughout Europe with Ionity and the US with EVgo.
