The Audi PB18 e-tron is set for a limited production run of just 50 units

Audi PB18 Update: as previously reported, Audi have confirmed that the PB18 Concept will go into production – limited to just 50 units however. Audi Global CEO Bram Schot told Autoweek Netherlands that the all-electric hypercar coupé could show up sometime in the next year or two, although just 50 examples will be made.
The PB18 produces 671bhp (764bhp with a brief overboost) and can go from 0-60 mph in under 2 seconds. Power stems from a 95kWh solid-state battery, although we wouldn’t expect the production variant to feature a solid-state powertrain if it plans on arriving in the next 1-2 years. Such battery technology simply isn’t readily available yet. Nevertheless the concept has a claimed range of 361 miles (581km) and can fully recharge in just 15 minutes.
Given the exclusive production run, we anticipate the PB18 will be a seven-figure car in terms of pricing. But then again it looks, and most likely drives, unlike anything else on the road…
