Rimac Plan On Making A Track-Focused Version Of The 1,887 bhp Concept 2
By B. O’Hare
A track-focused version of the 1,887bhp Rimac C_2 is in the works, the Crotian company has confirmed. Capable of going from 0-60 mph in a staggering 1.85 seconds, the regular Concept 2 is also an ‘everyday supercar’ (or hypercar for that matter) with luxuries such as electric power seats and a large central touchscreen. We expect less of a premium feel in the track version – which aims to go for a Nürburgring production car lap record according to CEO Mate Rimac. The C_2 is a successor to 2014’s C_1 (which Richard Hammond famously crashed 2 years ago) and is set for a limited production run of just 150 units. The EV hypercar, which maxes out at an astounding 258 mph, starts at approximately $2.1 million and has a seriously impressive 402 mile // 647km range due to a sleek, aerodynamic design and a 120kWh lithium battery. Who do you reckon would be faster around the Nürburgring, the C_2 or the 2020 Tesla Roadster? Let us know in the comments below!

Website looks great 👍🏻
I think the C2 will be the fastest round the Nürburgring, however I think the 2020 roadster will feel more premium
